SoundBase Pro includes a component that requires x86 architecture, for which Rosetta must be used.

If you encounter this error, it indicates that SoundBase Pro contains a component that relies on x86 architecture, necessitating the use of Rosetta for proper functionality.

To fix the unknown system error -86:
  1. Close SoundBase Pro.
  2. Open a terminal and type softwareupdate --install-rosetta.

  3. Accept the terms by typing A and then press ENTER.

    Rosetta will be installed.
  4. Reopen SoundBase Pro.

The error has been fixed.
